This starlight archtop is a 14” hollow body electric that offers a big sound in a small package. The hollow body cavity gives a decent amount of acoustic sound for practicing or working out your arrangements without having to plug in. With the extra string and the 2 humbucker pickups this guitar is extremely versatile. The Tone Control has a push/push switch which splits the humbuckers making it sound like a single coil. The Body is Honduras mahogany which helps add warmth to the sound. Plugged in you get that classic archtop sound but with the ease and comfort of a small body guitar. AS with all my Starlight Models I used my patented Deadbolt neck joint which gives the superior strength and sustain of a neck thru body with the convenience of a bolt on neck. The heel is contoured for ease of playability on the upper frets and genuine comfort all around. For jazz or blues or whatever you need this guitar is it.
