NEW SHORT SCALE CABARET CLASSICAL
SOLD
We’ve been having tremendous success with this short scale version of our cabaret. The response has been overwhelming and everyone likes how easy and comfortable it is to play without sacrificing tone and volume. The shorter scale length greatly reduces the string tension, the frets are closer together which makes complicated finger stretches easier to manage and i was able to get the action good and low without fret buzz or loss of volume. We start off with a beautiful piece of east indian rosewood for the back and sides, add a pristine carpathian spruce top and finish it off with a gorgeous and extremely rare flame mahogany neck. Tonally its warm and sweet with a generous bass response and plenty of punch. The pickup is the James May ultra tonic with a preamp. when plugged in the sound is extremely natural and picks up all the wonderful nuances from the box. what makes this setup so unique is that if the battery goes dead the pickup and volume control still work passively albeit with a little less power but you’ll never have to worry about running out of battery life in the middle of a gig. By adding the preamp I was able to dial in the perfect E.Q. for a stunning amplified sound. This guitar is a truly exceptional piece and is incredibly easy and comfortable to play. you can’t ask for a whole lot more than that.
