WE’VE BEEN HAVING TREMENDOUS SUCCESS WITH THIS SHORT SCALE VERSION OF OUR CABARET. THE RESPONSE HAS BEEN OVERWHELMING AND EVERYONE LIKES HOW EASY AND COMFORTABLE IT IS TO PLAY WITHOUT SACRIFICING TONE AND VOLUME. THE SHORTER SCALE LENGTH GREATLY REDUCES THE STRING TENSION, THE FRETS ARE CLOSER TOGETHER WHICH MAKES COMPLICATED FINGER STRETCHES EASIER TO MANAGE AND I WAS ABLE TO GET THE ACTION GOOD AND LOW WITHOUT FRET BUZZ OR LOSS OF VOLUME. I had one stunning piece of Bird’s Eye Maple left and decided to turn it into this amazing Cabaret. The Engleman Spruce Top Compliments it beautifully and the Macassar Ebony Appointments add a lovely pop of color. Tonaly the The trebels sing, the bass is fat, and the mids are even and clear. It looks as good as it plays!
