The Classical Guitar is still a favorite among jazz and fingerstyle artists. Over the years I have had many requests to build a live performance friendly traditional concert style nylon string. A lot of thought went into the design of the Concerto and how best to cater to my customers needs. This Concerto features a beautiful solid carved arched back which aids in projection and eliminates the need for any back bracing, and tapered sides which gives an enhanced  bottom end and aids in all over comfort. Add to that a traditional classical neck with a spanish heel and a 2 ” neck width to give plenty of room between strings for fingerstyle playing and a beautiful hand carved Floral Side Port that acts as a monitor for the player and you have an instrument that is as impressive to look at as it is to play. The tone is well balanced and very even and the trebles just sing. This guitar was built to be more acoustical and therefore does not come with a pickup.  Pickups are available for an extra charge and there are many options available. I would be happy to discuss this and come up with a pickup option that is right for you. The Concerto is a great performer with a beautiful voice that will compliment any style of acoustic fingerstyle playing
